Weekend Getaway

We took advantage of the long weekend and headed to sunny St. George! Our friends Luke and Ali were brave enough to spend the whole weekend with us and we were so glad we could have a little vaca time with them! The weekend was full of a little MC/Wicked Karaoke session in the car, shopping, eating, a little trip down to Mesquite, laying by the pool, hot tubbing every night, a competitive tennis match, and of course lots of good laughs! It was so relaxing just to sleep in, stay up as late as we wanted, and do whatever we wanted for three whole days! We can't wait for our next vacation!
Zachary sporting the FBI shirt and shades, he kills me! Please excuse the no make-up face, hey, I was on vacation!

Zachary - # 1 Baby

Of course we have to get a pic in front of our home away from home for the weekend. We stayed in little condo that we had found online, and it turned out to be perfect!

Luke and Ali- love these two, we had so much fun together!

Happy Birthday Zac!

Yesterday was Zachary's birthday and we celebrated with a delicious dinner at Joe's Crab Shack, Zachary LOVES crab so he was in heaven! Zachary is such a great husband and I am so grateful to be married to my best friend! Love you lovey, Happy Birthday!

We each got bikes for our birthdays and when we bought them I saw Zachary eyeing this comfy seat cover. He was so happy to get it for his birthday, so now his bum can have a smooth ride!

Road Trip to REXBURG!

Last weekend we headed up to Rexburg. It was definitely a little chilly there but we had fun! Zachary enjoyed fishing at some of his old favorite spots. He only caught one, but he had a nice encounter with a million snakes, YIKES! While Zachary was fishing I went with Nat and Trish to see Made of Honor, and of course I loved it. After the movie we had to eat at Wingers and I felt like it was old times, kinda sad that I don't know all the servers by name anymore...we definitely ate there way too much! It was so great to be back in Rexburg for the weekend, and I have to say I came home feeling a little homesick for it!
Luckily one snoasis opened early just for us, not really but we were SO HAPPY they were open!

We were sad to see that Me & Stan's had closed down so we had breakfast at JB's. There was this weirdo guy there making balloon animals for people- mainly kids- but of course Zachary wanted one. Can you guess what it is? It's an elephant- too funny!

The whole reason we went up to Rexburg was to watch Zachary play in a football game. He plays wide receiver and made a few great catches, I totally forgot to get some pics though! Luckily Nat and Trish could come along and keep me laughing!

Goodbyes are always sad, good thing Nat and Zachary are total G's, and good thing we will be going back to Rexburg next week for more fun! We can't wait!

Official Mountain Bikers

We got each other some mountain bikes for our birthdays, so last week we headed up Provo Canyon and took them for a cruise! It was so fun, but I thought I might die from over exertion. I definitely need to get those leg muscles in shape! It was such a beautiful day though and it was so nice to finally be out doing something active, it makes me SO excited for summer!
I love love love living in Utah where you are always so close to the mountains, they are so pretty!

Zachary decided to do a little fishing so he had that fishing vest strapped on and I convinced him to stuff my huge-o blanket in it too. He was quite the site heading down the trail!
